JIM ELSON

I’m Jim Elson, I’m a freelance director and cinematographer.

I’m interested in short-form storytelling, and creating films that have a social impact. My work lives between the worlds of journalism and cinema, and I believe in the expanded potential of video online. My films have been featured in VICE, The Guardian, ESPN, and Deutsche Welle (among others).

I mainly focus on non-fiction, but I’ve been known to make the odd music video.  

I split my time between Melbourne and Berlin.
