LIQUID GOLD

The community of Busitema, Uganda, has long focused on small-scale, hand dug gold mines as their main source of income.

The mines, however, have a devastating effect on the local environment and population. Now, with the support of NGO Earthbeat Foundation, the community is exploring an alternative, sustainable economic solution: beekeeping.
